Indigo is an award-winning architectural and consulting firm providing comprehensive and fully integrated services to our clients.

The firm offers expertise and leadership in the disciplines of architecture, planning, urban design, engineering and interior design, ensuring comprehensive design solutions.

Our Story

Indigo traces its roots to a small village like place, where it began its work with a handful of mind set youngsters. Founded in 1994 by Riyas Mohammed, Indigo has transformed over the intervening 16 years into an internationally known architectural firm which now operates out of four offices in Thrissur, Calicut, Cochin and Kannur with a total staff of approximately 150 dedicated and highly talented designers and technologists.

Indigo unites architects with planners, master planners, engineers, interior designers and graphic artists in one practice, combining creativity with a wealth of professional expertise and market insight.

We endorse an integrated approach offering specific specialist services or a fully integrated design service, as appropriate to the requirements of our clients, whilst maintaining a proactive attitude to collaborative working, both internally and externally.

Architecture

Flexibility, innovation and practicality are three key items which underpin our design philosophy, and which we believe are key in creating the best building possible.

We are not image architects with a pre-prepared prescription for all projects: our preoccupation is with an architecture that is coherent, both intellectually and emotionally from concept through to detail.

Master Planning

A master plan shows how an organisation's overall aims and aspirations can be achieved and made real. They demand great creativity, skilful analysis and meticulous attention to be carried out successfully.

We relish these demands, and our staff are highly-skilled at delivering critically acclaimed masterplan across a wide-variety of sectors.

Interior Design

Architecture and interior design are perfect partners: offering both means that we can provide complete integration of built form and space, light and texture, furniture and colour - right down to the finest detail.
